There’s been major slowness over the past few weeks related to intensive software I have installed, sorry about that. And then to top it off on Tuesday the host’s networking fell apart. All should be restored now.
There was an extensive puzzling.org outage from July 2 to July 5. This doesn’t seem to have been related to the Linode hosting problems at all: somehow the puzzling.org server shut down and stayed down. All it needed was manual booting. Unfortunately I wasn’t around (I was diving) from July 2 to July 4 so [...]
This one was for reasons fairly similar to the last one, and lasted for an hour, from 6pm to 7pm June 28, Sydney time. Details on the Linode forum: Another TP breaker trip.
There was a puzzling.org outage from about 6:30pm on June 26 to 1:30am on June 27 (Sydney time). This seems to have been due to the following Linode issues:

ThePlanet Routing Issues and Hosts Reboots (this was a previous power outage last week, overnight on June 19/20, see it for context)
There was a long puzzling.org outage on Thursday 31st March/Friday 1st April due to Linode being down. The site came back up early Friday morning. Further details are on the linode forums.
